Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
That was nuts!
Denny, you OK? Do you need a new TV?
Another Pats come from behind, and I figured the Seahawks were going to score with no time left... never saw that interception coming, who would throw on the 1yd line??
Pete is dead meat in SEA!
Wow.
Now, do Brady and Belichick both retire... or try to be the only team to win 5 SB's next year??

I don't think I said I "hated" anybody New. I really went in to watching the game as a non-partisan. I'm not particularly enamored with Brady or Bellichek either. I was happy to see Seattle lose and in the manner they did for a few reasons. I have a particular distaste in my mouth for Seattle and Carroll for obvious reasons. Let's start with the "Fail Mary" debacle a few years ago and conclude with the championship game a few weeks ago. Besides, maybe its a west coast thing, but being surrounded by their fans is just insufferable. Not exactly modest in victory, if you get my drift. There are a lot of SEA transplants in SoCal (and they let you know it). Seeing them eat a little crow feels good this morning.
I wouldn't place a whole lot of praise at Carroll's feet for his accomplishments at USC either. I'm really not a college football fan, and I really don't care for USC, but he's generally vilified in these parts. He boogied out of town on the heels of sanctions that almost killed the program. Their championship and wins were redacted and Reggie Bush gave back the Heisman Trophy. Not exactly a legacy to be proud of.
So, "hate?" No. Just happy when karma makes an appearance. And that picture of Richard Sherman crying? Priceless.

To piggyback on this....Don't forget Carol talking about how they deserved the win against the Pack with the replacement referees. Worst call in history, ever! A decent coach would have said, "sometimes the call just goes your way and we'll take the win" or something like that. But he ranted on about how good they played against the Pack (they were outplayed the whole game) and that they totally deserved that victory (which they didn't). They only won because of replacement referee buffoonery! Karma is definitely a *****!
I think all 3 of their prior SB wins were on last minute field goals, and the two they lost were both on last minute heroic catches by the other team, and then they nearly lost last night on the same type catch.
But this SB finally went their way...they sure make it harder than it should have been!
I heard Brady said he wants to keep playing into his 40's!

I think the new list puts us over the merged list.
Can this be done efficiently, or even at all without a West Coast 717 Base? You would think with a shuttle type of operation they would want a pilot base just to have some reserves available.
Also, 88 aircraft can easily support 4 Pilot Bases. Remember when we only had 16 MD-90s and the traveling MD-90 base? DFW then SLC then MSP and then finally absorbed into the 88 Bases when we purchased additional aircraft.
What do you guys think, LAX 717 base or not?

777-200: There are no planned changes to the 47 Boeing 777-200 aircraft in its fleet.
777-300ER: American will take delivery of one new aircraft in the first and fourth quarters of this year. With these two new additions, American will have 18 777-300ER aircraft in its fleet.
AA-787-3
787-8: American is due to take delivery of three Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners every quarter of this year. If all goes according to plan, American will have a strong fleet of 12 787s by the end of the year.

Either way, a 717 base west of the Rockies would be great..

It's interesting to see Americans fleet plan numbers. Not that many more pilots but a quite a few more planes. I nice cache of widebodies to boot. I think even after retiring a number of aircraft they will still have well over 900 mainline airplanes. Anybody else have any numbers on this?

About $19 Billion to pay for all those new 787's.
