Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
That's a little different. Mandatory Displacements do not incur a category freeze that begins on the date of the award like an AE or new hire pilot assignment. MDs never prevent a pilot from being awarded something on a subsequent bid.
The pilots I am aware of that have gotten out of AE awards and the associated category freeze in the past all had some personal family issue/crisis that they presented to the company requesting the release from the award as a one off. Even then, they were only granted if the company could make the staffing work. These days, I'm not confident they have much staffing flexibility to work with in that regard.

Not the same.

As to the 90, what it needs is a new elevator.

On Option 2 are you worried that they wouldn't give you ATL717B for a few months and yet let others in ahead of you?
If you look at the last projected training/conversion window you can see how they handled guys swapping bases on the same aircraft. That AE had a small conversion window though but most everyone were swapped in Month 2-4 of the 6 month window. So nothing was immediate but it was timely.
However, in my personal experience I notice that conversions are done to have people in position for the summer. So they could move fast if they need people in ATL (which could happen if guys bid off in mass) or if that doesn't happen then keep you in NYC until the end of summer. Depends on how the AE shakes out.
If I'm not mistaken, conversions are figured out by hand. Years ago they explained how it goes down. I think it's a mind boggling process.

New Delta commercial. It's rough being on the road as a businessman. I think most pilots can relate as well.

Anyone know if SABRE/FLICA has gotten their act together with regard to their expense reports? Or are they still taking forever.
Probably going with Pro-Diem as their turn around time was much better.

I made the switch last year. They are really good. I have some sort of issue in my download, they did it all manually and didn't stop until we sorted it out. Nice people.
Baja.
