Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
So, EFB apps to use on layover... I'm SURE someone smart like BB has put Nook, Kindle, and/or Netflix on that thing. Come on fellas, share the love. Am I being paranoid by not wanting to log into this stuff with a Microsoft account (which I don't want)? There HAS to be a way to use nook/kindle/netflix on this dang surface RT without being forced to use a microsoft account and let them "combine" all your stuff (thereby surely dikking it all up on your other nook/kindle/android/apple devices!!).
Or am I just going to have to consider this surface device a total brick when I step out of the cockpit?
Thx
I even talked to a Delta IT rep who told me how to add MyRadar to the Delta side of the tablet. She said that was OK since it was directly work related.
If I can get to my tablet and get better directions, I will add them.
Big Warning: DO NOT opt to switch a local account to a Microsoft Account while on the Delta partition. That may sound tempting, but it'll really mess things up until you figure out how to undo it. Trust me on this one.

Don't know if this is a possible reason, but spent 45 mins on hold between 1330-1415 this afternoon because of an upcoming 117 conflict and the sked told me nothing he can do because the rules auditor is inop.Told me to try back later. He was absolutely no help.
Thx for info guys. Got nook and kindle installed. Will see if android stuff gets jacked up...
Now what about adding Youporn and RedTube and BangBros apps?
Seriously though I'm off to go study my FOM so I can get to sleep...

I just checked and they have exceeded their goal. I'm sure we all understand that good insurance is a blessing, but in situation such as this, there are expenses that no one could ever plan. If you haven't given, please continue to do so. They will go through this pretty quickly.
Let me take this opportunity to suggest that each of you look into long term care insurance. You can use funds from your HSA account to pay most of the premiums.
Good job everyone. Now, let's see some of the smilely pictures from around the world.

As much as Pilots have the "El Cheapo" reputation when the cause is worthy, the guys and gals really produce. I am amazed at the generosity being displayed here.
As a side note, when you scroll through the list of donors (many are anonymous) you will see a lot of very familiar names from the old DAL forums.
You can say what you want about the frequent posters, call them kool-aide drinkers or rabble-rousers depending on their typical point of view, but either way they are obviously very passionate and generous folks who like to make a difference.
Well Done!

Donatelli is on record saying the grievance will be filed then.
I am sure the company will try to roll it into a rushed C15. I sure hope Dalpa is smart enough not to get steamrolled again.
The company is griping very loudly about sick leave. Why isn't DALPA griping very loudly about this egregious violation?
Or would that create too much leverage?
