Default EFB Tablet question

So I set up my company email on the tablet when I first got it. Since that time I had to change my dbms password, which happened to be my email password. Now I can't get into my company email on the tablet, does anyone know how to change the email password on the company tablet?

Thanks

I had shoulder surgery in late Jan and recovery is going good. Very good chance I get back before exhausting my sick leave. I have been advised to fill out and send the Temp Disability paperwork just in case. Do I really have to do all 13 pages of it with ALL the doctor notes, dates, etc etc??? I'd appreciate any thoughts from anybody with experience with this. yes I have been corresponding with local and DALPA Aeromed guys on this

Schedule question in iCrew.

When looking at the monthly schedule, at the bottom there is a "PROJ" number.

Is that number the projected credit for the month, or projected flight time?

Thanks

Well most of it the Doctor fills in. I went out on TD when I ran out of sick leave - from what I remember the TD paperwork (and DPMA if you are DPMA) is mostly a "fill out name/address/employee # variety" then ship it off to the Doctor who does the rest. In fact, if you fill out parts that the doctor is suppose to, they'll likely sent it back.

The doctor sends it directly to Delta and DPMA from what I remember.

The temporary disability only kicks in when you run out of sick leave, so if you call in well before then, the temporary disability (and DPMA) won't go start.

What do you think about making this it's own thread? While I am certain that Delta will take care of it's own, perhaps others in the APC community might want to help.

Orvil,

I thought about starting a new thread but was unsure and decided to put the information in this thread.

I am sure that others in the APC community would be glad to help out but I did not want to start a trend that ends up with us all getting multiple charity solicitations every time we log on.

The generosity of the Delta family never ceases to amaze me - they are almost at their goal within 2 days!

Done! They are within $2600ish of the goal stated on the donation page. A lot of people have stepped up, proud to be a part of this Widget Family!

Jayhawk,

Here is to wishing you a speedy and painless recovery.

Regarding the DPMA questionaire and paper work, it is truly a big PITA. I hate to think what would happen if you were truly disabled and struggling for your life versus a non life threatening albeit disabling injury.

As a user of both the DPMA and a former previous airline's disability program, one was a "one call and it did it all". In other words you made a call to central admin, told them you were going to be long term sick and they would ask you to call when ready to return. Your paycheck came on the same dates as usual, your income stayed the same and you never went "off payroll". I may be wrong.. but I think you continued to build sick leave (can't be sure) while out.

The whole object of either program is to allow a safety net to prevent financial distress if such an injury or illness would prevent you from exercising the privileges of your ATP.

I am glad we have DPMA but I wish it was a little more user friendly. Sorry, but it looks like you need to fill out the paper work!

Get well, stay warm,

OC
