All I know is A) I missed seeing AF1 doing touch n goes or low approaches at phf the other day, freaking miss it every time.

B) what happens in Cleveland stays in Cleveland because nobody cares about what happened in Cleveland

C) idk what was going on with AF1 that day in Cleveland but i heard I that exchange. :D and someone else saw it from above, i know I'm getting crazy but I wasn't crazy back then.

I have yet to see another pilot with this bag tag and was wondering if it was because of distribution issues or are people not wanting to show support?
When I see the TA for my own eyes I will decide which way to vote and may consider removing the bag tag.

Got the bag tag on the bag, but what I was super excited about was that awesome high quality C2015 pen I found in my file.

Quick question, I'm traveling back to the states because of a military/guard trip. I have a full fare coach seat from DTS, but wondering if I can still take advantage of my non-rev benefits to get one of the 13 open seats in business? Double list and scan both tickets (coach and business seat) at the gate? Show the agents my ID and see if they'll take care of me? I know you're not supposed to fly non-rev for other business, but I'd still be using my full fare ticket...

I would see if the agent will upgrade you. You can't non rev in this situation. Don't list or even attempt it.
If the agent is a no go talk to the Captain.

If you try to use a non-rev while holding a purchased ticket, you could lose those non rev privileges. Bad juju. Don't even think about it.

Thanks for the quick replies. I figured this was the case, but wasn't sure if it was specific to wholesale trying to screw the system by canceling a full fare flight once you have a non rev seat. I'll see what they can do for me at the gate and resign myself to another half day wedged between some big boned, red blooded Americans.

Yep,

The above is very good advice. Don't try to non-rev when you have a ticket. That is almost as bad as "crossing the streams."

This. It's one of the few things that really sets the company off.

Do. Not. Attempt.

As a former LONG time participator on the DALPA forum, I initially lamented the fate of the forum when it was(essentially) shutdown. So off to the "chit chat" board I went and I literally lasted 5 minutes before I realized it was the same guys arguing and b1tching about the same topics. I haven't been back since and my life is much fuller without it. An hour a week on this board is all I need!:):):)
