Another 21 people retired/left seniority list. That's 101 for the year. Averaging right at 20 per month.

yay. maybe we can keep this concessionary contract in place for a while longer so pilots will retire sooner

great headset, surprisingly well made considering how little there is...

My CA headset replaced my green DC headclamps-with-earplugs-setup for all-day-long turboprop flying and it was great.

None of the conventional headsets can match the comfort of a band that goes around the head instead of over the head...

I miss mine, lost on a 737 OE trip in CVG years ago...it's easy to miss when getting off the jet and I didn't have my name on it...

The TSO'd version is just really expensive.

Cheers
George

That's an important statistic if you are at the bottom quarter of the list. I'm in the top quarter and the retirement movement was 4. Underwhelming for me. Unless they replace those top 4, it doesn't mean much.

Re: Clarity Aloft
I've been using the TSO'd model in the 88 for a couple of years. Works great, do not even know it even on you head. A friend who left DAL for SWA recommends it for 737 use, but I question his judgement.

I had a Clarity aloft. It's really small (good & bad). Relatively durable although you need to be aware of how you're storing it. I had custom earplugs made. The foam ones work but you'll be buying a bunch of them. The custom earplugs were fantastic but they used small barbs on the post to grip the earpiece. The earpiece kept popping off and I'd go back to the foam. I eventually sold it.

I did some work on the at one headset (since out of business) and ended up buying the FreeCom 7100. Similar to the clarity aloft but more rugged and earpieces are super light. Same company who makes headsets for FIFA soccer refs and NFL.
