Default Kuwaiti airlines flies from JFK to LHR

I was reading this article, and on its face, I thought, hmm.. OK, so what. But then I was wondering, how is Kuwaiti Airlines offering a direct flight from JFK to London? Even if it were a "fuel stop" passengers couldn't get off???

Does our open skies agreement allow fifth freedom rights? i didn't think so.

Are there strict rules on wearing a pink tie this month? Do they need to be purchased from the company's fundraisers? If not, do they need to be a solid pink?

Buy one from the chief pilot office. Save the Ta Ta's. It's money well spent.

There are strict tie rules in the FOM. And save the boobies is not one of the authorized reasons to wear non black. Yet many folks do. So the answer to your question is....you should have voted for the ta.

What would be a decent load factor to get a first class seat on an international flight from Rome? What about just getting a seat? Thanks.

Every year Flt Ops puts out a memo authorizing pink ties in October, so yes, they are authorized. Buy one from the CPO or IFS lounge or not. Shade doesn't matter. The ones sold on property a portion of the proceeds gets donated. But if you're cheap, you might could find a bargain at TJ Maxx or Marshall's.
