88 has no delay for OE. your delay will just be waiting on your turn to go into the sim. It will be based on your seniority in class and how many people are going to the 88. The longest wait in our class was 4 weeks from the end of indoc to start of sims. The shortest was 8 days. I went from Indoc to finishing OE in 2 months 1 week.

It's been a while. Do you need a passport for an offline JS?

Supposedly, if you utilize the actual cockpit jumpseat of an offline carrier, then yes, you're supposed to show the agent your passport as well. (I was asked just last week.) With that being said, whether they (gate agent) asks you for it or not is a different story.

Q: Brain hurts from PWA and have a Q. If I sick-out and then pick up a WS later the same month is there any Gotcha's? Don't want to find out the hard way that some obscure para. states that those WS hours are now converted over to cover sick-out time. Thx.

Nevermind…found it in the SHB. Will add back time to sick bank with caveats.

It only adds back to the sick time bank if you pick up a WS on days of the trip that you sicked out on. If you pick up a WS a couple weeks after the sick call, it is just paid like a normal WS.

I know we just had one close recently, but does anyone know when the next AE is planned. I figure they won't post another one this year but just curious if anyone has heard of an approximate timeline for the next one.

Thanks
