More of a gee whiz kind of question than anything of import.

I picked up a 3 day GS today. It is a 4 day trip that started yesterday as captain OE, and I'm picking it up at the end of day 2 through day 4 when I presume his OE will be complete. When scheduling put it on my line, they put the entire 4 day on my line. I only expected to be paid 3 days and that is what is on my time card, so any idea why they put the 4 day trip on my line when from my perspective it's really only a 3 day trip?

Getting senior in category has a drawback. You fly with more senior captains. The junior guys are much more fun....

Who doesn't want 5 leg days and 30 hours in LFT, FAY, and EVV?

Regional flying that has multiple legs and inefficient overnights due to service frequency. The work we've been trying to recapture for years. We can't expect the smaller aircraft to fly one-legged days from Boston to LA. But I'm glad we do it instead of it being at the regionals. Devils advocate I guess but...

Agreed. My post was more TIC. Actually lucky in that I'm not getting too many trips with 5 legs in a day.

Holy ******* you're fast. After I posted it I reread because I'm about half a bottle of red wine into this. & I realized it was Tic so I changed it. Of course you had to quote me at lightning speed and hang me out to dry :-)
