You're using the wrong tequila.

Could somebody who recently completed an interview with Delta please tell me how long you expect to wait for training? I have a United and Delta interview coming up and am trying to decide if one would be better for me. Thank you.

The timeline is rapidly changing. I was hired last May and started indoc 4 Jan of this year. There are guys hired in Oct last year in indoc this month. Delta is trying to drain the pool. Before the backlog happened last year the wait was about 2 months. I think that is what they are trying to get back to.

Especially if you commute from what I hear.

I've had numerous trips taken from my schedule for OE training and have always received a call the night prior. Not sure where you've heard the "if you commute" boogeyman, but in my experience, that has never been the case. (Or maybe I'm just lucky.)

The "DAL Poolie" thread tracks this stuff much better. Actual poolies there vs "well, when I got hired..." It changes so rapidly you need to talk to people going thru it now, not the old farts on LNG.

It can be up to around 18 hours- I backdoored the A's this time about 12 hours prior to them showing up on DLnet.

I've thus been unsuccessful in backdooring my B... maybe tomorrow...
