Your situation and mine are nearly identical. The delta (no pun intended) between what you were paid and what the IRS says you were allowed is astouding to me. My difference was only about $700 and I used prodiem too...

Probably right! I'm mixed up between those and Mileage award tickets, which are ridiculous.

Next time some schmuck tells me I get a free ticket I'm going to punch him in the face!

Here's another option for per diem tracking. https://perdiem.aero/ It cost me $27 to do mine myself this year. The program tracks all 5 methods of per diem calculation (yes, there are 5) and automatically determines the best for you. It does not currently allow for cut & paste or auto-uploading of DAL schedules (it does allow that for several other scheduling programs), but when he does build it into the program, it will be even better. But for now (and for free), you can track your overnights on the website throughout the year by simply putting the 3-letter airport code you overnighted in on the calendar (international included). You pay nothing until it's tax time and you want the report...then it's less than $30 and all of your info is already saved! Pretty easy and very accurate! For clarity, I get no promotions or bennies for suggesting this. The owner is a prior colleague and a very smart programmer (and a current 121 pilot). If someone with more computer savvy than me can coop with him to get the DAL info to upload, I'm sure he'll give you a great break in the future and make this even easier for all of us!

My wife calls me a green slip ***** so that might have something to do with it.

Also way, way to many nights in the LGA Courtyard!

Hunite was bought by RosterBuster. Regardless I found RosterBuster has a tremendously better UI and functionality.

Help a brother out.

On reserve, green slip on an x day (golden day no less). Got a PB and a PR, I understand why I got each. But what does the PR day actually mean in my life? Will I have to work that day or is it effectively another day off? For bonus points and future info, where would I look that up?

Thanks

Slim,

Try the DAL Poolie Info and the Delta Hiring News threads - you will get a much better response.

There should be a time associated with the PR. You are assigned Payback Rest. Usually you have to "work," but instead of starting Long Call at midnight you may be starting at 0400 or whatever time they annotate. The other option may be a 30 hr rest period if you have a lot of days on reserve in a row. In that case, you don't work or sit reserve, you are in rest.
