For line holders there is. 75 or ALV-2 I believe. It will show on your time card.

2. Simple solution. Match 717 pay with 88. Then match 88 with 320. Which then matches 717 with 320. Problem mostly solved.

3. Stop all of the 91% of trips are 4 or 5 day trips.

ATL717
May trips: 82% 4-days and 9% 5-day = 91% >= 4 days
March trips: 84%/10%= 94%
Feb trips: 85%/10% = 95%
Jan trips: 79/09 = 88%
Dec trips: 82/10 = 92%
Nov trips: 80/3 = 83%
Oct trips: 81/10 = 91%

Man, it's so nice to make a post like that and not have an alpabot come and argue with me about it.
I don't think it's the 4-5 day trips (at least in NYC) as much as it is the increase in trips that are non-commutable on both ends and the continual increase in EWR departures.

Thanks. I thought I saw somewhere 65, but I'll take a look at the timecard. Makes sense it would be tied to ALV somehow, I suppose

Not a latest and greatest post but can someone educate me and tell me what payrate I will be at during training when returning from loooong term leave? I will be returning to my old aircraft, 7ER and to a new base. I will require the full course and was wondering what rate I will be paid at (727/C 1st year pay...7ER/B 12 year pay? or something else?).

Thanks for the help,

AC

What type of leave? If mil leave you will be paid 7ER with years calculated from hire date. If personal leave longevity will be based on years worked.

In NYC maybe.

It's interesting that crew resources used the argument that commuters like 4- 5 day trips as justification to build them, but then builds non commutable 4-5 day trips, puts them in bases that are not predominantly commuter bases, and builds way more 4-5 day trips than there are commuters.

First and foremost, they supposedly build trips to keep credit time to a minimum, according to them. A quick glance at most categories trips though, I see a ton of deadheading. Also, they build un commutable 5 day trips no one wants and then have to break them up sometimes when they assign a reserve and have to deadhead a pilot out and in mid trip which increases credit time. I'm not smart enough to figure it out.

Also add any years of furlough if you had any. Bypass and/or personal leave I think doesn't count. Welcome back (unless LAX and senior to me.)

Baja.

Another casualty of the combination of 75/76 domestic with 7ER international. When they were separate and NY was all international, all trips were commutable. They added a little domestic in the winter to keep from displacing folks.
