Goes junior. Flying the tracks without auto throttles is a PITA.

I'm not going to lie... mentally I've already spent the extra hundred dollars I expect to find in my profit sharing check if Virgin Atlantic's massive expansion plans come to fruition.

Just to be clear this announcement by Virgin is a attempt to get the majority of slots if a 3rd runway is ever built at Heathrow. The earliest that might be is in 2026 and it’s doubtful it will ever be built. If it is built the route expansion plan does not include US destinations. They are specifically targeting IAG served destinations where there is no current competion.

Which means management has chosen to focus on growing our subsidiary over our own. Just curious where our expansion into Chicago and Dallas is on the list.

So you are saying the Virgin pilots should share destinations from and within the UK to countries other than the US? Should we also share our routes in the US and other destinations with Virgin? Would UK law even allow Delta to fly those routes?

This is funny because the map clearly lists US destinations in their route expansion plan:

San Diego
Austin
Chicago
Denver
Orlando
RDU

Well I personally think he is on to something. I have never heard any guard buffoonery during red eye hours or over the pond.

Now I know what you are thinking - who does not fly at night or over the Pond? I was thinking the same thing - must be the Southwest guys and gals, right? But now Southwest does fly to Hawaii, ergo it must be the RJ crowd.
