But what’s the source?
The source is from Ed’s skyhub Q&A last week for Flight Standards folks. The clip shown to me had Ed specifically saying more than once we are interested in the 787, and that we need a Boeing order to keep Boeing in the game here. The 350 is performing great as well he mentioned. Things we need to address with the fleet, but we are happy with it.

Maybe we are in for a surprise soon!
I think this makes a lot of sense and could be driving the upcoming fleet strategy.

I've jumpseated there. You must list at least 75 minutes in advance at the ticket counter, so you can pay necessary international fees. At least that was the case a few years ago when I did it.

Serious question, flew RJs under DC for NW/DL and now flying here at Mother D, what’s up with people saying Deltas on the radio? I’m sure it’s been discussed before, but is it a N vs S thing? I never heard it until the last few years...just curious where it originated and for what purpose.

my understanding is it's mostly done by the PMDL guys/gals...someone that was here then can either confirm or correct that.

It’s some weird legacy thing. American’s, United’s, Delta’s, etc. I’ve never understood it

I only saw it on the 75/76... and it was always old dudes that probably today make PAs detailing their carrier traps.
