The Max-8 is the clear favorite of other Air Lines having ordered 2700+. The Max-10 has only sold 500’ish. Max-9 only 250 and the big loser is the Max-7 with only 60 orders.

I predict the 737 will be the downfall of Boeing and southwest, at least until southwest learns fifi.

Perfect time for delta to come in and get one of their “sweetheart deals” to save a company like the 220
The only difference is the 220 is actually a good plane unlike the max
I pray to god this rumor is false. The 321 neo is very capable and will work great with crew commonality

Also what could happen if delta wants the max 10 they could give some or all of our 100 options to spirit and then we would have a split of both. I find it hard to believe that delta would just give away 100 airplanes over the next 4 years when the max 10 wont even be ready until 2022 I think and that’s all based on the max 8 flying again soon.

Is Airbus taking for granted the Airbus-heavy fleet?

Airlinepilotforums is probably the only place where you can read the 359 underperforms.
Here is an 8 page discussion between pilots from Cathay and Qantas validating A359, A35K performance and comparing it to 788, 789 and 777 as well. They use real flight data from several airlines (including published data from Delta) and Fcom .. No underperforming issues.

Sweet 8 pound 7 ounce baby Jesus, I hope not.

Very logical and common sense thought... however, When has Delta ever worried about anything common with fleets?

We have a large fleet of 737’s that will be around for at least 20 years. I doubt commonality is a issue.

Hey, they knew how to design gear in the 60's!
Here's a video of it's gear swing:

With All the money in tweaks and all the lawsuits they are going dish out on this stupid plane they probably could have launched the 797
