Well not happy enough to get the rest of them. Or buy extra A330-900neos when we already have A350 in the order book being postponed.

We have accelerated the A330-900’s deliveries and added 12 airframes to the initial order for 25. Total now 37.

All of the DC-10-30's (D13) we acquired at NWA were second hand. I know several came from Swissair. Not sure of the others. And if it counts, we took 2 Braniff 747-227B's that were NTU near their end.

Supposedly after the Gulf Air 763s Delta has never done the used widebodies routine, I believe. Could be wrong.

Not sure if NWA ever did it either but I dont think they did.

But hey we arent like most world airlines with one hub.

From reading the interweb if you need that big performance the 350 is evidently the best thing going.
Wow, I had no idea the orders for the 330 NEO were so low. So we have like 15 percent ish of the entire order book? Any top men have whispers about what we see in the NEO that the rest of the world seems to be missing?

"Right sized for our operation" is my guess.

I once heard it had the casm of a 773 in a 280 seat package. I could see the lust for that while other carriers just need the 773 seating.

I just ZED on Korean A330 couple weeks ago. No cabin gaspers either. I thoughr it was because their 330 appeared to be older but maybe Asian carriers don't like that option.

Delta acquired some 737s many years ago that had no gaspers as well. I believe they were a -300 variant.

Speaking of delete options, NWA got Bombardier to delete option a flap setting for the CRJ 200.

It’s viewed by many as a warmed over 30 year old design they slapped 787 engines on. Delta seems to feel since they got them for half the price of the A350’s they are a bargain.
