Yeah I figured as much. I thought perhaps he had some inside info on how junior it'll go in ATL this AE.

At some point that may change, but you have plenty of senior F/O's who have been here over 10 years thinking and talking about making the hop and when they do 10 outta 10 say they will go to the 717 vs 88 if that is the option The 88ATL will still be very interesting to watch on this AE. 40 slots is a lot of fill plus backfills.

You're welcome. You'd be surprised at how little people of all seniority levels understand about the bidding process. Sorry I stepped on your delicate sensibilities.

I am going to be optimistic and say tomorrow. I know it is a Saturday but the October bid results were released on Saturday October 15th at about 1800 Mecca time.

It was pretty funny I was having a party for my Navy retirement and a whole bunch of DAL acquaintances started texting me Congratulations - which I thought was for my retirement until I realized that I was awarded a CAPT bid. This definitely added to the party atmosphere!

Is there an update available to the spreadsheet that accounts for the increased value of vacation starting in April?

Was the base question ever answered?

I don't see how PIC has anything to do with an AE award. Now, for ex-mil with no previous 121 experience I could see an issue with the 1000 hours of co-pilot time being an issue. I didn't meet that benchmark at the 13 month point. That said, the company would have that information so again, I wonder why he got the call.
