Redwing black merrino wool socks. Cost $16 a pair, comfortable, warm, breathable, strong elastic, and last long time.

Thanks, I'll do that tomorrow....errr, it is a holiday, maybe Tuesday.

As far as expense, I used CIBT so I didn't have any expenses, other than a $2.00 passport photo..

Calling the PSC is definitely optimum. I even walked into the physical location, albeit in weird hours, and handed them my new passport and chinese visa. It didn't show up in iCrew. I called up a few days later and got Baker, who is the king of all things Delta. Fixed right away...

I just went into the CPO the next time I was at work and showed it to one of the ladies up front. She put the new number and expiration date into the computer and it was there when I checked on a computer in the lounge.

Yellow slip question - if you put in a yellow slip for a three day trip but you have 4 days of availability will they award it to you first or will they not award it to you because of the extra availability you have, basically does a yellow slip trump all or do they fill it by the bucket system first

If there is someone in the 3-day bucket that is good for the trip they will get it before your YS gets it. Bucket system availability trumps the YS.

Some strategic moving of X-days can sometimes work for stuff like this. If the coverage is good, move some x-days to another block so you are in the right bucket, YS the trip, then move the days back. Have to have coverage though and that seems to never be the case these days.

I'll second the Sockwell socks. The Circulator is sold in the Crew Outfitters in the ATL lounge. Great socks.

Duluth Trading company has several thicknesses of compression socks. They're not the cheapest, but it gives you options for summer/winter or how much compression you want. They're online and have storefronts in several states.

If this evolves into a manziere discussion I may put in my retirement letter.

Can I white slip a FEB trip that carries into one reserve day at the start of next month (MAR)?
I am a REG this month and RES next month. I'm aware of the pay issues-- just wondering if its legal.

Thanks!
Blue

If you get the trip, you can move a reserve day over the day that carries in. There are many nuances when bidding from Line to Res or Res to Line. Some can be beneficial, sometimes you work a day for "free".
