Careful with that. There probably close to 150 non flow pilots from Compass here who interviewed just like everyone else. The last ever flow pilots from Compass started here in summer 2015.

Disconcerted event of the day. Was on an NYC subway today when two plain-clothed delta pilots came on and stood next to me. One of them was okay but the shorter one...couldn't believe my ears. It was a former compass or Trans States guy based on his talking about embraer, and was bad-mouthing ever LCP and five sim instructors during his training on the 737 category. The tall one even told him to "don't talk that way." I wanted to punch the complainer square in the temple for all the crap he was talking about Delta. I was unsuccessful during my screening and would kill to be in his place. And here he is pitching a fit about different techniques in landing the variants of the 737. Grrrrr. Okay rant complete but for eff sakes man.

Because Transstates and Compass are the only airlines that operate Embraer aircraft.

You know what they say about assumptions....and don't tell a recruiter that you wanted to punch anyone.

Isn't Expressjet the largest E145 carrier in the country? Don't Skywest, Republic, and Mesa fly the same aircraft as Compass? That's a pretty ignorant comment

By "summer" you must mean November 2015.

I mean DOH of summer. That was the last flow class. Now with that said they were held back 3 months but their DOH was August.

Tax question in regards to Georgia state tax being withheld during training while not a Georgia resident.

I do my federal taxes through turbotax and state on my own since they are easier. Full time resident in Ohio. I would have assumed I would get a full refund of GA taxes since non resident and then owed some of OH since the wages earned in GA weren't taxed by OH.

Turbotax says I Almost get a full refund of GA. So I started doing them on my own and can't seem to figure out some of the numbers turbotax is getting. Anyone else in this situation? Not sure if I'm doing schedule 3 wrong. I thought it was simple but turbotax is making me think differently.

From what I remember when I did mine, is that you also have to file a State of Georgia tax return. That's where you'll get the refund from - are you talking about the Schedule 3 from Ohio or Georgia. (I'm not a resident of either)

I did Turbotax. Filed Federal, GA, and my state. In that order. I'm no genius, but it walked me through it with no hitches.

I didn't get a full refund. GA taxes me like 800 dollars and I am getting 600 back. No clue if I did it correctly but like you I also felt like I was getting screwed because a lot of money I was double taxed on.
