Because if you move golden days they become regular X days and give the company more flexibility. At least that’s the paranoid point of view! (With which I’m VERY familiar!

.....the fact that iCrew only awards three blocks of Golden Days. So if I have five separate blocks of X-days, I'll only be able to protect three of them with Golden Days. It's not in the PWA or SRH and is supposedly due to some old coding from iCrew/PBS.

I see where you're going with this and I like it. If you could use the days anywhere you want, of course you'd always put a * on every first off day, thereby making all days effectively golden days. Don't think they haven't figured this out too though LOL. However this will require "negotiating capital" to fix and its a pretty low priority item anyway even for perennial reserves.
