Maybe they changed plans or aircraft. Was scheduled out at 4 pm as 9930.

Irrelevant. You aren't retired in this example.

By the way, all WO regional pilots have the same priority as a 30 year old AA guy on a AA flight based only on time of check in, not date of hire.

Aircraft is on the way home today on a revenue flight. Must not have been anything to serious thankfully.

Avherald confirms that it was an engine fire and then a subsequent evac. (I'm very curious as to what would cause that quick of a return and then evacuating when on the runway... fire didn't go out??). They only spent 7ish minutes in the air.

The affected ship hasn't left nor is scheduled to leave yet.

Wrong airplane.

Actually it was the right aircraft. They however canceled 55 today and equipment subbed that aircraft to 9930. Sounds like 3358 did not meet its ready time. Seems odd they canceled 55 and not the extra section but perhaps they prioritized getting the people home off the canceled flight.

And somehow an Endeavor family that's not retired is different than a DL guy who put 30 years in? Yeah.

Like I said above...Awesome story, bro.

It is. You've had your time at the top. Now you're retired and have plenty of time to wait. Tough cookies.

Also, thanks for being a non-contributer

Harold is right. The subject aircraft needs an engine. It’s not going anywhere through at least the weekend.
