Delta has actually tried to be ahead of the retirement curve we are actually over staffed system wide in preparation, summer flying requires as many able bodies as possible so if they do slow it down it will pick right back up in the fall

The plan is still 1000 for the year. If they want to drop to 20 a month they need to start deferring deliveries ASAP. It’s not unusual to drop down the hiring in Jun and Jul to focus on the summer flying.

The AE that closes tomorrow (the 16th) has FO vacancies in both LAX and SEA on . If any of these are unfilled, they will be offered to new hires. The plugs in LAX and SEA on the 73N and 7ER have all been at Delta less than one year, so if you don't get SEA or LAX in your new hire class, try for the 73N or 7ER and you can move to a new base when there is a vacancy.

Anyone know if you can YS a trip with a sign in that’s before 10am (even though you are coming from days off)? I can’t see to find the answer on my tiny phone screen.

Default New Endeavor Pass Priority

Endeavor employees just got an email announcing a new pass priority called S3A which will give priority over non-dependent children and retirees. It will begin on April 30. I'm sorry to all the retirees and soon to be retired that put in so much effort for the company and now have to deal with this. At least there aren't too many employees so it hopefully won't have that much of a negative impact.

Actually it also bumps parents of mainline employees if they are not traveling with the employee as they are s3b.

Well played. Didn't want to wade into this debate yet and I guess the lack of shocks on the parking bus had me hit submit.
