According to SkyHub, we sent 3 717s to SBD for temporary storage until April 2019.

We have done that with various fleets almost every year. Far fewer block hours in the winter.

I have a 4 day block of reserve coming up but wouldn't mind grabbing a 5 day trip that starts the day prior on an off day. Can I successfully YS for that? Or will it be ignored? Tried looking it up but it's clear as mud. PCS allowed me to enter it at least.

Yes it will work provided you are legal for the trip. The 30 hour lookback in 168 can be tricky on reserve. If your off block is 3 days long your fine. If two days could be a issue if report were really early.

Thanks for the info, yeah I'm quite legal haven't flown in 3 weeks and it'll be 3 days off prior. Hopefully I can grab it as I'll be able to see family and get some fresh pastries in CDG in the same trip!

Default Sick policy question

Hi guys/gals. A Frontier person here with a question about sick leave accrual. We’re voting on a TA that gives us one day of accrual per month worked (yeah, we use days, not hours). We can accrue 12 days off per year worked. How does compare to the Delta book? Thanks. LF

We don’t accrue it. It’s a fixed amount per year, with verification after a rolling 100hours of use. Starts at 50hours, maxes at 270/year

Historically light users of sick leave (less than 50 hours in each of two consecutive years) need not verify at all in the following year, even above 100 hours.

Additionally, using less than 80 hours in a year accrues [(80-used hours)/2] hours of additional disabilty benefit one could use following the draining of Short term disability. Those hours accumulate over the course of one's career.

Hey smart people, if the Captain is getting SAQ training to go into Hayden, Co, do they release the FO or does the LCA sit in the jump seat? If they do release the FO, I assume it is only for the turn to the SAQ field and not the whole rotation.

Thanks in advance.
