Airline Pilot Central Forums - Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?

Just started 73 school and instructor got a phone call during the review session. Upon returning from his call he said we should be hearing a big announcement today. Said it had to do with the 737 MAX in the news. You could make the leap to NAS and their problems with their MAX order and buying used 787s.

What's the connection, 73M delayed so they're selling their 787s? Would we do a fleet of 16? I'm intrigued. I like a good rumor.

Wow. It burns pretty damned close to an -ER at cruise. It's faster and heavier too.

Sometimes I feel that anytime an airline in the world cancels or defers an order everyone thinks that means delta is going to get them when in reality that almost never happens

Sucking it up and continuing with 350 with less than ideal economics vs making another purchase to do what they wanted to with the 350? Idunno just curious. I love a rumor. I’m here for rumors and chicken jokes.

At what meeting? In the Asia Pacific Network Podcast Network said contrary to Rumors they are very happy with the performance of the A350. This Podcast is on DeltaNet and available to all pilots to listen to.
