I predict the 737 will be the downfall of Boeing and southwest, at least until southwest learns fifi.

The Max-8 is the clear favorite of other Air Lines having ordered 2700+. The Max-10 has only sold 500’ish. Max-9 only 250 and the big loser is the Max-7 with only 60 orders.
The only difference is the 220 is actually a good plane unlike the max I pray to god this rumor is false. The 321 neo is very capable and will work great with crew commonality |
Also what could happen if delta wants the max 10 they could give some or all of our 100 options to spirit and then we would have a split of both. I find it hard to believe that delta would just give away 100 airplanes over the next 4 years when the max 10 wont even be ready until 2022 I think and that’s all based on the max 8 flying again soon.

The issue is, they cannot meet the performance that Airbus guaranteed.
Modifications have been offered at a price. Is Airbus taking for granted the Airbus-heavy fleet? Still cannot fly LAX-SYD. Can't fly JFK-BOM. Here is an 8 page discussion between pilots from Cathay and Qantas validating A359, A35K performance and comparing it to 788, 789 and 777 as well. They use real flight data from several airlines (including published data from Delta) and Fcom .. No underperforming issues. https://www.airliners.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1406387&sid=fd44246bd952f8e79f 2a8ceadf53bfb1 |

Word floating around spirit is that there’s a deal in the works for Spirit to take Deltas 100 321 NEO’s and Delta struck a deal with Boeing for the Max 10’s. Any word of something like this around delta?

Perfect time for delta to come in and get one of their “sweetheart deals” to save a company like the 220

Very logical and common sense thought... however, When has Delta ever worried about anything common with fleets?

I hope this is the truth, the max 10 not only is it a max, but it’s so long that the gear has to be redesigned and it has to collapse to fit into the 1968 designed belly of the aircraft.
Here's a video of it's gear swing: https://youtu.be/fGm5ylnHFCs |
