I believe it’s the alternate airport that creates the issue. But who knows.

For a long time LAX-SYD had to use Brisbane as an alternate which is about 600 miles up the coast. We finally got approved for Canberra so I bet the 350 could do it now, but not sure how much cargo it could take. Don’t know much about the 350, but the LR can do the crossing and still haul a ton of cargo. Occasionally get some bad headwinds on that route too versus a more polar route like dtw-pvg.

So I fried it (deleted app), and cracked a new one open (reinstalled) and now working again.

I was just on a 350 the other day from Doha-ATL. About 15 hours gate to gate, and we spent the last half of the flight in the high 30s/low 40s FL.
Most every seat was full.

I don’t know how Qatar sets up seating compared to DL though.
