Airline Pilot Central Forums - Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?

Poor terminology on my part.

I'm glad those days are sacrosanct, I really need those days off! Now as long as every pilot doesn't decide they really want to work during their kids winter break I should have zero problem getting the XX days I want earlier in the month :).

They are only sacrosanct for training...they don’t guarantee those days off for your entire monthly schedule. Bid your month appropriately!

I was thinking of bidding two trips back to back but can't remember the time limit inbetween trips that PBS applies. Is it 10 hrs minimum?

23.D.11. 12 hour break for line construction domestic. Different buffers applied for FAR’s for WS/GS. I think it’s 30min buffer for WS, and FAR for GS.

I believe it is 10 or 10.5 hrs depending on wether you measure from block in or release.
