"Low Nbr / Low % - You may specify a minimum position by entering either a number or percentage. For example, by entering a Low Nbr of 42, you would only be awarded a category if you would be number 42 or higher in the category. If you entered a Low % of 42, you would only be awarded the position if you would be in the top 42 percent of the category."

Just to be perfectly clear, "more senior" could be substituted for the bolded word above. Maybe it's just me but "higher" could be misconstrued.

In seemingly unrelated news, the Council 20 elections are done. Over %54 turnout, which is DAMN impressive for a LEC election.

The people elected are %100 win for this pilot group.

PS So we can't enjoy pancakes? Boo....

Nu,

I too am pleased with the results. The CA Rep race was close, but I'm happy with the result. I think it's better for us in the long run.

Thanks Denny.

The more I think about the rumors, it seems to me that NYC is going to get a LOT more flying. I didn't know the 777 base was so small up there.

With the rumored addition of the 1/2 of the ATL 765 flying, the overall 10% increased domestic flying, and the LGA increase (which I would imagine would be part of the 10%), the New Yorkers or NYC commuter-able should be happy.

But, that's just a guess off of rumors.....

They will very occassionally extend and then retract(and you may not notice!) Ground spoilers are CRITICAL for stopping distance. Ensure they are out and staying out, and the jet stops fine.

11 yr. MD guy

Well, I'll be honest Cog, that picture was meant to brag about the queen of the fleet. But I had to kind of offset it with a negative comment just to keep it real. I have found the brakes work just fine on it and I am not a reverser guy. I only pop the buckets and don't reverse it unless my finger slips and you know a finger slip on the 88 can go from no reverse to a lot of reverse. Its not 757 brakes but if you start one at a time it comes on smooth and it will really stop.

Okay, caught up. Thank You for slowing down. Continue writing. And by the way, that Lizard riff was hilarious. I know, about a year late (in APC time) but it was still funny!

From CP discussion in the lounge today:

-AE should be out at 11:00 am tomorrow
-No personal leaves granted for the summer, need all hands on deck this summer to cover the flying
-Pretty much everything that has been mentioned on here regarding the movement of airplanes and bases
-Guam base discussed as good possibility but not definite and not sure of a timeline if it does happen.

I don't know why you guys are getting all worked up about Lufthansa FAs at GRU. Last time I took LH to Frankfurt, we had a bunch of old hags in the cabin....very much like their US counterparts! You are in Brazil people...get out and smell the local selection...they beat most flight attendants any day! If you can't get laid in Brazil....you aint getting laid anywhere!
