Ah well, Dragon gave a good guide above.

Looked at the 73N in LAX, yuck! DTW DC9b is looking good. We would be in the top 30%

There is a time line, but once again, no answer to my PM!

I think we will see a bunch of the stuff come out as we move past SOC.

Airframes depends on a few things

The JAL deal should be done soon

That deal will decided a few things.

AE's for the next two years.

We should know if we need bodies in the next few months.

What else do ya want to know?

I can tell ya the time line is not along the lines that pilots generally like to see. (IE five year plan)

Yep, the LAX 73N category has really taken a hit since I came out here a year and a half ago. The trips used to be very good and well-paying. Now, they're mostly redeyes out of LAX and some decent stuff out of SNA. 85% used to hold a line, that's come way down now to around 60% or so. I haven't really figured out why. I just know I'm backsliding and on my way out probably. Looking at the little bus in SLC.

Thanks

Just show up, don't bother calling. I tried calling and the person on the other end of the line was like "????"

Also, I think AirTran will close the flight 10-15 minutes early if everyone is aboard. They really like to leave early. So show up plenty early.

To suggest we need to factor in what the company will do to a third party as a result of our agreements is beyond the scope of what we negotiate. It's not our problem, it's not our fault, it's not our concern. Period.
Heyas Sink,

And therein lies the problem. It doesn't matter if there is official "me too" language or not...it's the expectation and the action that management actually takes that is the problem.

And while it SHOULDN'T go in our liability column, you can bet that every trinket that they give the pilots, there is a "tax" added to the price tag to cover the eventual "me too" bone they throw the FAs to keep the union wolf at bay.

The NWA Call in Honest policy is a PERFECT example. It would cost the company VERY little to implement it, because the NWA numbers show that it actually saves money in the long run. But the rumor is that DAL management WON'T buy off on that because THEY HAVE to give it to the FAs also.

So while, in theory, there is no "me too", in practice there is, and while it shouldn't go in our liability column, it does. And while it shouldn't be our problem, it seems to be.

Now, I'm all for letting the FAs work out their own issues, and I do believe strongly that we should stay out of it. I'm just discussing the ramifications of a vote one way or the other.
