It is all good. Walking down the street typing on my phone and posting on APC. What is better than that!

Yes - or via the computer using eCrew at the airport. (at the airport, there is a "Sign In" link on the left after you login. Click there - you can print your rotation, flight plan, see if the other guy has checked in).

Man your dad really must have taken all this stuff home every day to give you such a jaded opinion considering you weren't even on our seniority list.

Carl, how many Green book guys agree with you? How many law suits and grievances were filed?

Now when it comes to a Delta/Alaska merger SLI, I will be there right next to you fighting for 100 year fences, but don't blow sunshine up people's skirts.

The hundreds and hundreds of green book pilots who retired as wide body captains agree with me. The ones who didn't get wide body positions immediately probably do not. But to call our SLI a miserable failure is just plain wrong.

I would not get to excited. Looks like no hat tricks for 2007 guys on the bid.

Carl, I guess it's all a matter of perspective. How much money was spent on lawyer fees defending the lawsuits? I for one think that DOH between companies is totally irrelevant. Different hiring patterns, different fleet types and demographics all make ones date worth more or less when viewed across company lines. I tend to agree with Bar about status quo.

A SLI with AS without tall fences will crush the bottom third of the Delta list, both North and South. I think they stopped hiring in 2006. The have people on furlough. It has the potential to be an AW/US situation.

So while we may disagree on somethings, I'll be right next to you manning the wall. (insert obligatory Tom Cruise/Jack Nicholson quote here)
