Curious, what capital are you referring to? If it's Brussels, seat of the European Union, we have 2 flight a day (JFK and ATL) while CAL has only 1 (EWR).

 

Don't forget, they all had carpet in the flight deck too.

I followed your advice from last night to watch Top Gun.
Tonight's problem is, someone switched the DVD's and I ended up watching Hot Shots instead.

I still don't have a "call-sign", and I still don't have a squadron to call my own.

I do however, have a craving for fried bacon and eggs!

Please help.

My humble opinion is that you can switch those DVDs as many times as you want durring the viewing as long as you are adequately lubricated.

If you're senior to me, then by all means eat as many of that fried bacon and eggs as possible and feel free to lounge around on the couch wishing you had a callsign.

I might suggest "Men in Tights" as a substitute. You'll at least be able to break out in song and see how many other men in tights will join in. Behold your squadron.

In the meantime, I'll work on being more observant next time I jump on a North 757.... I can't even count how many times I've been up there and never noticed it.

I was wondering, in order to be a Captain at Delta Air Lines must your first name be Robert? As to Top Gun references, is it really possible to save the world and get the girl by flying my jet like I'm supposed to? And if I get the girl, will she still be hot 23 years later?

Why did Super not indulge us with the promised side views and did ACL mention if RA told him what time we will get the JAL announcement and whether we will start flying their 747s and 773s for them and also does he know where I will fall on the merged DAL/Alaska SLI and when will I be able to hold either 737, MD88 or A320 A in ATL? I need to know year so I can go ahead and purchase my Captains house on Lake Lanier before prices rebound.

And might we still hire any time soon?

Crude oil rose for a 10th straight session Wednesday, ending at the highest level in nearly 15 months, MarketWatch reported.

The climb comes as a weaker dollar and cold weather boosted energy prices, the article said. Crude for February delivery rose $1.41, or 1.7%, to end at $83.18 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange, the highest settlement since October 2008, the article reported.

It fell as low as $80.85 earlier in the session after the Energy Information Administration reported an increase in U.S. crude and gasoline inventories, the article said.
