Very nice Nu. I see those planes in MEM and wonder sometimes what life would be like if that prop failed to feather. They do have a super stretched model out there.

As to Ferds landings, we should be allowed to grade. I still am going to argue this is the 767 Appreciation Video: YouTube - Delta Airlines Advert

There will be a test on this btw: YouTube - Delta through the Decades

Ya. I think if you do 6-8 legs in the old Convair, you've earned your swagger.

Nu,
Do you get swagger points for a E-120 or E-110?

While I'm thinking about statistics, through the third qtr 2009:

Northwest Airlines:
Operating Revenue (millions)14,084 11,391 -19.12%
Delta Airlines:
Operating Revenue (millions)20,848 18,436 -11.57%

Northwest Airlines:
Net Income (millions) -4,827 -1,490...
Passenger Yield (cents)213.0611.14 -14.70%
Revenue per ASM (cents)316.3314.64 -10.35%

Delta Airlines:
Net Income (millions) -7,645 -1,847...
Passenger Yield (cents)212.9711.33 -12.64%
Revenue per ASM (cents)316.1114.81 -8.07%

Since this always makes the f-NWA folks mad, don't get angry at me. I'm just reporting the data, as the Company reports it to the DOT.

Both airlines have been effected by the downturn in our economy, although the effect on Northwest Airlines has been more pronounced.

A guess would be that one reason Delta does not need aircraft is because our combined fleet (and staffing) is under utilized in some areas and could be better optimized. That's also what management is telling us.

Two one legged men don't make a track star. We've got to get in shape. (insert trite sun shiny inspirational statement as required to end on a positive note - here)

You get a swagger, and deafness and if the ASA ones had a recirc to bring the lav smell back to the cockpit then you also have sinus issues. But man, that was one sharp looking bird.

I thought so, but couldn't bring my mind to figure out how to spell Wharton seconds before the door was closing to my commuter flight home. Harvard is much easier to spell. My spelling is why I couldn't get into either one. :D

Only for the E-110. In Florida. In Summer.

The chicks in TLH think you're so hot when you step out with your shirttail untucked, drenched in sweat and smell like the paper mills in Apalachicola.

Or a good ACL press conference and Q&A is good too. Day time viewing on the latest & greatest...

I don't understand half the stuff acl or Bar ever say. It's like they are teaching a class I didn't do the assigned reading for. So, when they talk about debt service load factor cap market value thingamajigs, I am just thankful that I know how to fly and take their word for it. :D

Perfect example in the above post:

I don't even know what I'm supposed to be mad about. :D

I smile and nod my head. minuses are bad, plusses are good.

Goodwill writedowns are voodoo, and I like cash.

CASM, RASM, MASM, ZASM, and pthwesdlkwoierASM are airliners.net stuff.
