Okay that's great. I wasn't sure where you were based and just wanted to make sure because I was caught in the 3pm base time vs mecca time dilemma once.

Well Bar, that's when you say "I'll do my best but it looks like about 2 hours from now is the best show time I'm going to be able to make." CS can say nothing to you about this. Now if you want to make an earlier sign in for what ever reason......................thats up to you.:)

Denny

It is reasonable time.

They ask I say best case 1:15 to the parking lot, and that is at 3 AM on a Sunday morning. Two hrs is a push and I think they have realized that. Em buses in ATL can be a pain.

Just to be perfectly clear, you need to check your schedule after 1500 local base time not Mecca(Atlanta) time. I got sightly bit by this once.

Did Mecca move? Last I heard, it was just west of St. Paul!;)

You are absolutely right.........it is reasonable time.............and 2 hours to get to the airport is reasonable time most of the time. I don't think one will have any issues if one tell CS that it will take 2 hours to get to the airport.

When I sat reserve regularly I would always tell them I'd be there in about 2 hours. It would save alot of problems if I got stuck in traffic or delayed for whatever reason and if I got there earlier, well all the better. It's kinda like telling passengers during a delay that a 20 minute fix is going to take 40 minutes ('cause it almost always does!:)) and then when you go earlier everyone is happy instead of the other way around.

Never forget 23K. I would still be ready if they have noted the need for possible recovery flying.

Yeah, but I'm still going sledding!!!! Bring your saucers to summergrove. We can all slide down my neighbors back yard and hopefully stop before we fall in the lake.

The baking sheet only works if you get some non-caloric based kitchen lubricant to put on it that will make it 500 times more slippery than any other cooking oil. :)
