Airline Pilot Central Forums - Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?

So, any good rumors on hiring? Where did those 6 mystery 744s go that the board approved? What about the 10 A330s? Didn't we get a new 744 sim and bring the A330 sim over from Manchester? This thread is getting boring without juicy rumors.

I have also stated and will restate that they are now stating in the crew rooms:
Hiring this fall with recalls in late summer to early fall. Of course that is probably best guess, but they are definitely oiling the bearing on the hiring cog.

Here'a a question for all ya'll rocket surgeons. Anybody know what all that garbage is in the big packages that takes up the first, oh, 20 pages or so? Oh, and the April packages are out.

Actually I never read that stuff. I guess I will need to do that to tell you what it is.

Generally it is line reports, trip reports, average duty, block etc.

I can even tell you that they have determined who will be doing the interviewing, and new hire classes.

Of course it is tentative until they actually announce it.
