Go pull the Welcome letter off of the 767-400 fleet page. It explains the process if you have not flown the jet in the last 36 months. It is an initial qual. Lots to look at there. If you have questions, pm or e-mail me. I just saved a copy of it so I can reference it if you have questions. Page 12 is a good reference as to how your training will progress.

Full 767/757 training then the 765 differences.

Thanks.......

My pleasure.

We do not have initial courses for the 7ER or 765 so they funnel though the 767 course first.

I did not know that an airline could put a limitation to the corporation a FAA type. That is a first for me. Wonder if it was truly a limitation.

To quote the restriction on my license: B-757/767 limited to FAR 121.543(b)(3)(i) operations at Northwest Airlines Inc.

It was a cruise captain restriction valid only at NWA. I recently received a new license making me a cruise captain at Delta as well. Whoopee!:p

Rumor control: DC9-50s are sticking around until 2016 now. Can anyone shed some light?

GO DC-9!!!! More DC-9s equal less RJs.

Wait a minute, does that coincide with RAH getting C-Series?

I do see a lot of senior guys going that way. There are a bunch of pilots that commute from those parts of the world.

Oh, I hope you're right. Anything that gets people senior to me out my category is a good thing. :)

It isn't that I'm not sympathetic to what some people in this industry go through, but some of us military guys didn't quite have our flying jobs handed to us nor a college education. And the last time I checked, my military flying career hasn't exactly been a walk in the park.

Ummmmmmmmmm......WHAT????
So all RJ pilots have had their college educations handed to them?

I would assume the sucking sound may be off West Coast bases if they pull the trigger.

Do not even start.....

DC-9-50's will be here until oil goes North of 130 again, and then they are gone. (just a guess of course)

Craziness. Glad we have not figured that one out. It is a waste of time to do that to us. Just give us the type and allow us to added it to our qualifications.
