Yes, you're absolutely right Johnso29 ... RJ pilots have had their college educations handed to them. 100% correct quote there. Not taken out of context.

Job;
They stated that in the road shows.
Firstmob;
They will officially pull the trigger when they officially announce it. Until then it can change, just like last time. We were very close to pulling the trigger prior to JAL. No I am not kidding.
Events that unfold effect everything, so depending on the events that could unfold, it may be moved up from the best guess or shelved again. A lot is still going on, as it always is.
Like I said, plan as of today is probably early 2011. (the want a commitment from marketing not to pull the flying for a period of time and if they can get that they will do the base, and if they can't I suspect we will see TDY's)

I was asking you to clarify your statement. I wasn't sure if you meant the job, the degree, or both. Judging by your reaction, I'm guessing you were refering to only the job.
I wasn't flaming you, I was simply asking for clarification. I wouldn't expect a statement like that from you, & that's why I was trying to clear it up.

I dont need (but want) 5 weeks of vacation. I do need a pension. Scope is very important and i need it too. But I need vacation and a pension also. One's seniority often dictates what he/she thinks is the highest need. Obviously, a senior pilot is much more interested in pension issues than a junior pilot and that junior pilot is equally more interested in scope (specifically narrowbody domestic scope issues). Everyone must understand that wants and needs of a very age diverse pilot group differ greatly.

Cogf16,
I understand what you're saying. I just want to remind you that scope is no longer related to just narrowbody domestic flying. In this day of codeshares & joint ventures our WB scope is threatened as well.
SCOPE effects EVERY pilot in our pilot group. Please don't forget that.

For the record, I'm bringing no hate to those in the RJ world.
