80, was your dad flying AC-130 gunships? Mine was, at Udorn. He brought back some crazy crap too. Like two ceramic monkey end tables. I can't recall a monkey swing but that doesn't mean he and my mom didn't keep it to themselves. My mom quickly disposed of the other crap. My wife has done a very systematic disposal of my stupid **** over the years as well. I have NOTHING from the bachelor 141 days. (Well, actually a few memories that she's not privy to.);)

You'll have that reserve 330 seat by about 2017 when the retirements kick in. Until then, it's just the mini-bus.

I'm cool with the baby bus. :)

Pierre does some funky stuff sometimes, but when he does I just go all DC9 pilot on him & click off FD's & AT, or calculate my own 3:1 descent. ;)

Swallow in the Hollow, Roswell GA

Oh, the countless hours of my life I let slip by at that place before children came along.....

So much fun. So much good music. So many nights I can't entirely remember.... Good times.

3:1 what's that? I just wait till ATC asks if I am going to make the restriction, chop the throttle, full boards at FL350, slow back to .72 and pitch for redline. Haven't missed yet but I do get some strange looks as the passengers walk off.

Uhh, what...calculate? Uhh, what? Huh? No. No. What?

Doesn't Pierre have a computer? I can't do that whiz wheel stuff anymore.

Why do you need to calculate, you can put #2 and #3 into idle reverse and make any restriction in under 2 minutes!!

DC-9 pilots don't calculate descents. They tell the earth where it's going to be when they make their altitude.

80,

I check on here, just to see if you and ftb can make me laugh. You always do.

Good night. :)

Don't let him fool you. He turns off the baby bus AP because he needs the extra speedbrakes after being high and hot.

(A330 gets full SB with AP engaged)

Buzz, don't forget all the pictures of the ground that we took. We would fly over some interesting place or country and take a photo from 350. I would get home, get the film developed(yes, I'm that old), and say what the heck was this picture.
