Airline Pilot Central Forums - Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?

Us -88 guys in NYC get put on short call on our last day all the time. My guess is lack of white slips (commuter base) and the huge availability of "out and back" trips that can be assigned to us.

Who have you been ****ing off? I don't think I have ever had a SC on my last day... It's always day 1 or 2. And yes, I'm NYC based on the 88

At this point, is 5p Mecca time the best we can hope for the AE?

I've been assigned short call on my last day before. On a different subject, when do they usually post the AE results? Will they do it just before 5:00 pm on Friday so us pilots have the weekend to soak it in before we start making calls, or will they post it as soon as possible?

My whole goal is to peeve people off! I shouldn't have said "all the time" but it probably happens to me around once a month. Probably because they know I commute from the west coast! :)

Someone posted on the Dalpa board that the bid is done and will be posted in the am. it has been submitted to ALPA for review.
