Well cowboy, you aren't gonna make that flight if that was actually how it is booked.

I fly to FRA or STR as a non-rev at least once or twice a month. PM me if you need a question answered.

ATL-FRA is a 777 now, typically a few seats open, plus if they aren't doing any line check stuff, you can j/s and sleep upstairs.

ER's this Spring out of DTW and JFK. You also have ATL-DUS and ATL-MUC to consider.

While you can easily get into AMS typically, departure taxes get wacky at times. Just watch it on travelnet. From AMS in the airport you can jump on the ICE (high speed german rail) to FRA, or just ZED from AMS wherever you need to go.

How well have has ZED fares on, I'm assuming KLM, worked for you out of AMS?

I haven't gone that route, but I would just look at zedweb...

Personally I would look at Lufthansa first and then KLM. But from what I hear, KLM is really great with us...and will try and throw you on a jumpseat if they have to.

I can typically always get into FRA or STR. I'll often go to JFK to get into FRA. Ok, I will re-phrase, to get over there in Bus Elite.

I wish you guys would do some work over there in DTW, I have had to cover 2 trips for you guys this month. ;)

Stuttgart's looking much better tomorrow, and it's about the same distance from my destination. (I really wanted to go through JFK so I could have a chance to update my pubs, but there it is.)

Thanks so much for your insight and advice, gents.

I just got done Saturday doing a GS 4 day. I thought about going tonight but I already made some shopping commitments with the wife. I think it was part of my vows to not break those promises. At least that's what my wife tells me. :p

I think I might actually only do one trip this month, it was at the beginning. I should probably pick up the... book... the whatchayamacallit book, the one with all the airplane stuff in it, numbers and stuff, I wonder where I put it? Anyways, I think I should read it.
