You can't enforce what you don't know.

I've relied on Delta to do the right thing, because I seldom could catch a problem, if at all. Trouble is, you're now adding about 5,000 guys that are trying to make this work, to the 7,000 guys that might be too complacent, throwing in fNWA schedulers AND new-hire schedulers that are not going to understand the contract, and are going to be "all about" covering the flights. That's a recipe for abuse.
.

Bingo! And that's why there were so many grievances at NWA. Time to break the hand holding with management and schedulers. It's either in the contract, or it's not. The old; fly now, grieve later, may be coming back. Need a good contract admin rep though to ensure the grievances get filed....Anyone see Ken?

Anyone else notice that the flight time in type is missing from the rotations? What is up with that?

I have played a few of the RTJ courses... very well done. I think I played the Opelika course.. At least there is something good in Bama....:D Nicklaus did (I think) 4 courses in Tennessee that are all public and very nice also. that is called the Bear Trace.

Bear Trace (Nicklaus designed) is at Tims Ford State Park in Winchester, Tax Evader TN. Nice Course was there this past weekend. They have about 30 cabins too that are pretty available and reasonable if you want to make a week of it. Great countryside.

Speakin of Tax Evader TN, the world's largest outdoor music festival - Bonaroo - Starts June 11 im Manchester TN - I've been the past three years and it is the modern day woodstock, just better planned.

This argument is going to get really old. As many people have stated here and elsewhere, things at DAL can.. have been taken care of with a simple phone call to scheduling. Contrary to folklore, schedulers are not out to get you. They make mistakes. Oft times, you can call them on it and they will rectify the problem right then and there. If you want to call that "hand holding" then have at it. Nothing I will say will change your attitude. And by the same token, I don't want a Ken Watts type "holding my hand" and filing grievances when the aforementioned phone call will have the same net result. However, a good contract admin guy does have his place. But you choose the adversarial path first, I do not. I guess we must agree to disagree. The last word is yours.

SEA 7ER Base

Any word on how quickly Delta plans on moving pilots into the SEA 7ER? I know they have until December to complete the conversions, but I suspect they will move many of the current 7ER pilots sooner rather than later.

I can't remember, but I think I have played that course. Is it the one that is near a power plant or something like that? I do remember that each hole has a nice bail out area, and just enough temptation to "go for it" if you want. I think that is a Nicklaus trademark.

Does the festival have a lot of bluegrass? You know they did camperfest in Knoxville for awhile, and that was a lot of fun...

You can also pick up over the max via the ecrew swap board. There are always pilots who want to drop a trip and they'll post it as 'PU'

I was under the impression that the swap board could only be used by line holders. Can reserve's pick up from the swap board?

So you should treat for a round too because Bama did beat UT:D. Maybe you could join us for an SEC golf outing.
