Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
Anyone know when the "new" -90's will be online? Trying to figure out when the MSPM88 base will be up and running full capacity. I know they have a lot of unfilled spots, but curious if we are going to be overstaffed up there once the new guys are here, waiting on the airplanes so that the total block hours can increase.
Any rumors...?

I don't think guys here are really angry. There may be some frustration, but remember it is a lot harder to communicate effectively via typing then in a face to face conversation with immediate feedback - both verbal and non-verbal.
Another thing is that 95% of both fNW and fDAL Pilots do no even visit these board so any differences of opinion amongst the pilot groups are probably exaggerated on APC.

And, flash forward (and I commented about this about a year ago and don't want to have to go back and do that search): Delta, as opposed to the former NWA, has always empowered the FO's. We have also known what the guy in the left seat was going to do: its a team effort. The pilot flying the leg inputs all of the flying stuff into the boxes. The other guy, the PM, would do the walk-around and the preflight. Whoever flies that leg briefs the leg, the departure, the taxi, the threats, etc. Works great, lasts a long time. Delta has always emphasized a healthy CRM cockpit without the caste system that interferes with safe flight. Maybe because we have a lot of guys, like me, with a lot of experience in aviation but a junior seniority number. Its a cultural thing: but I damn sure guarantee you that it does not invite some kid in the right seat watching his CA fly a stupid approach or doing anything that might get the both of them violated. I understand the fNWA approach. As a pilot of 27 years, I kind of like the Delta approach.
But I have been in several of them.. and watched 'em fire both up only to taxi for 15 minutes... but if that's OK with YOU, it's OK with me.
T,
I gave FTB some feedback on the worldflight stuff he sent ya. It looks a little old and the formatting is compressed since it was shrunk for the FOM. Also, the international example is for a DC-10 and has way more driftdown info than a 75/76 would have. But overall, not bad but I'll dig and see what I can find.
