As almost everyone is tangentially touching on, the DAL MEC has leverage (in about 3-4 different directions) today.

Carl said it simplest - are they going to enforce section 1 or not. Are they really all about "taking every opportunity" What we have here today is a massive opportunity to move the DAL pilots ahead a square or 2 in the cheese store.

Lots of leverage available right now. Call your reps.
Yeah, now I'm starting to see the knight getting ready to take the queen. In other words, I see your point

I guess I just wasn't that sad to see Compass go away as I've always been mad that we had that jammed up our bums to begin with. Don't get me wrong, I really like the Compass guys I've commuted with as they are a great bunch of guys. I say flow/hire them all and let the new company worry about it. Or as NewK says, we'll fly 'em

Also, just to be clear, I'm glad we had the flow agreements as I'm sure that is the major reason we didn't furlough post merger.

AND...........don't be next door to their room

The good news is the sound of the hot tub motor will drown out any "other" sounds

I have had a hot tub room a few times.........too bad I was alone

I was at the Mariott in Livonia this past Jan, and I could've used one of those. When I first turned the corner off the elevator I could see a guy hanging in the hallway with his ear creeping towards a door. Once he heard me coming he scurried to his room. As I continued towards mine I could hear why he stopped. Holy Smokes, it sounding like someone was making a movie!!

Nope. So YOU with the benefit of 20-20 hindsight don't get the privilege of revising history or sharpshooting.

You've got the PWA, the LOA's and Grievance Settlements regarding scope available to you. I'm serious. I want to hear YOUR plan. I get to "hear" enough of your criticism. The MEC doesn't meet until Tuesday. And when you're successful I promise I'll give you the credit, and nominate you for Supreme Ruler over all things affecting airline pilots. You will be way beyond NC. Save us, NuGuy, save us!

Thanks for the English lesson. Much better after a four hour nap. I knew that.

I do have a few attorneys on "speed dial"(something I learned from my father), but I also live in a family with a bunch of em as well. I also have a bunch of friends who call that their profession. Nothing wrong with knowing a few lawyers.

To be fair, I thought the same thing about the multiple lawyers comment.
Yes, I'll go with that, it's the iPhones autocorrect that makes me so Madagascar that I correct the problem.

That auto correct, is horrible, and what is worse is that I almost never catch it.

Where? I looked in the DALPA library and found nodda. Point me in the right direction to those things, please.

The summary is in the Contract Awareness Bulletins.

Not sure where you would get the actual LOA language.

Well, it's as you always say, right? The devil is in the details.....

One misplaced "hence" or "therefore" and we're all selling ice cream cones to passengers before the flights.
