I hear you Super.
I just hope the MEC will enforce our scope clause this time.
Reference the sale of Compass and Mesaba.

Contract 2012:

The Good News: Our 747-400's and 777 Captains make $550 per hour.

The Bad News: We only have one 747-400 & one 777 on the property.

A joke? Yes.

But, the point is, what good is a pay raise if you are on the street, or flying 2 or 3 categories lower than you should be? I think everyone understands that scope is where it all begins....

Nu;
Not sure what a C-70 is, but as FtB pointed out there is a CS-100 and a CS-300.

Thanks for your help
I am a bit confused on your timeline. Calender dates work better. If however you flew 5 days and were on long call or rest today and then have short call tomorrow with 2 days availability the company would have lots of options to fly you. Tomorrow would be day 7. They could DH you to a flight on day 8 or give you a rotation with a short leg tomorrow and DH or layover to a full last day. They gain back the 9 hours block you would have had on day one so they have around 11 hours of block to use you on the two days left on call.

Behold the C-70. I don't know about you, Nu... but I think your sources may be a bit off on this one.

Default Another "stupid" Jumpseat Question

I found the MEC alert which changed the jumpseat booking window (MEC Alert 10-02). Thanks to everyone who replied earlier. I do have one other question.

Is there a minimum time requirement in order to cancel a jumpseat request? For example, say that I find a flight that is empty and will get me to my destination and departs an hour before my JS flight. Can I cancel my JS request and non-rev myself on the earlier flight? Or is there a minimum time requirement to cancel the JS?

Thanks ...

-Fatty
