I know you have cooled off since this statement but I got Ferd's back on this one.

Money does not mean the world to me. I am at the bottom of the list and already make more than I spend. It's all about the base and QOL. I don't think its fair to burn a guy for that. He is happy.

I for one plan on moving to the base and equipment that makes me happy and move left only if/when, it suits my QOL. Moving left may never work out for me but I've got no ego to bruise and pleanty of cash as it is.

Bid what you want, want what you bid.

Buy what you can afford and live like a king.

You're a better man than I buzz, cause I couldn't do it. If there is anyone that has a bigger "punch me" face than Maher, I don't know who that would be.

Grieve it. Only way to hold the company to the contract when they pull sh!t like this.. I know the G word is foreign to fDAL, but better get used to it. We have fNWA schedulers now

out of base w/s's come before reserves once you are inside the 12hr assignment window.

Out of base w/s comes after reserve outside of the 12 hr window.
In base G/S comes before out of base W/S

Anyone know who the carrier "RS" is on Travelnet? I asked a gate agent in ATL today and he couldn't find it in the computer...

There is nothing to grieve. Section 23.O. is very clear that an out of base white slip is awarded before a short call reserve for a <12 hr call out.

I really was serious that my ego (and it's big) doesn't need to be a captain. Also, when I talked about people jumping between bases with the APA I wasn't talking about me. I never did it as it's all about the commute for me and I didn't want the extra time zone problems that DTW caused.

Sorry if I came across as one of those guys I never want to come across as..............

Ferd
Thanks Ferd, and sorry for my initial comments. I was frustrated after looking at what I could hold in different categories and bases. Someday I will take you up on that Saipan tour. Sorry again.
