My guess is lower domestic growth next year to please Wall Street. That would also be the reason we stopped hiring overnight. I think we were planning on 6% and they adjusted it to 3% so that we can keep prices high. I don't think it has anything to do with ALK. If we announced tomorrow we were merging it wouldn't make a difference on staffing until 2012.

Even if we merged/bought AS they have very little overlap with us. Their jets would more than likely just keep doing what they are doing, or at a minimum the routes would not be shrunk.

Not to change the subject but...........to change the subject.............Could one of you techno-wizards tell a techno-novice what the difference is between a "jailbroken" and an "unlocked" phone? Pretty much all I know is that with an unlocked phone you can use it with any carrier. I pulled a boner and left mine on the airplane my last trip. Hoping it shows up in a couple of days but not holding my breath. Thanks,
