What I thought was interesting from the Working Group memo was that SOC is planned to be December 2009. Because it then says....
"If SOC happens in December 2009 as planned, then the earliest AE awarded to the combined pilot group will be in January 2010."
I say planned , because that is when it seems that scheduling at least expects it to occur. I've heard more and more of this date - December 2009.

Everything I have seen is 12/31/09. The issue is not flight ops...it will be tech/ops and such.
Also, something worth noting: SOC is not "flipping a switch"... it is simply approval to continue transition/combining processes.

Yes, the goal of this spring/summer slipped when they realized that Tech Ops had some major issues to deal with.
