Exactly....

ok all you AE gurus. I have a copy of the projected Cat list as of the May 19 bid that is supposed to be effective for 01 Dec. 10.

I'm comparing the actual cat list for 01 DEC 10 and I am more than 10 numbers below the spot the "projected" list shows I am supposed to be.

Anyone know why?

I was going to say the same thing, but opted not to. Our Intelligence Services love to allow other to take credit. It gives those looking a much harder time pointing to a source or sources. Keeps ppl alive, and in place.

Shiz, because some of those above you probably either bid back on the most recent bid, or moved in from the last bid, or did not go to school nor get converted due to a subsequent award.

Because in the mean time new 22D3 reports came out that moved the goalposts...

Projected means just that: projected

This is a tough lesson for categories that were expected to have big increases, and it's also a tough pill for those in established categories scheduled to shrink.

Every time a new AE comes out it is accompanied by a new 22D3 report...
That's your best guess at guidance for the future.

Cheers
George

We all know that with the AE process, there is no absolute and a person's given number will always be shifting. With 12200 pilots we have pilots moving in and out of seats every day.

For all you keep track, the AFA vote closes tomorrow.

Couple years ago I bid the ER. I was to be a bottom line holder in ATL. Training got delayed a couple months. When I finished training I was on reserve. 7 months later I couldn't hold the base. Now I love my 88 again!! Projected Cat list was miles off. Then again, so was/is the economy!!!
