When you are referring to BK, you are referring to the former 44 Rep, and the articles in the Roar 44 that basically stated that flying below ones seniority does not matter?

If that is the same one I agree. No one can be in that sort of position that takes that type of position on scope.

Wonder who the reps are going to vote for?
The list I have is;

B. K.
T. O.
A. W.

Are there more?

So the "November Short-Calls" link in the Crew Sked page now has planned short-call times and numbers of pilots for the bases. Interesting. Wonder if they'll stick to them.

"they're more like guidelines"

I got an SC that wasn't listed for tomorrow, so there is some scheduler flexibility.

Denny;
I thought that M.S. may not do it. Has he officially announced?

Everything is a guideline until it is part of the PWA.......

"Am I under arrest?"

"no"

"Am I free to go?"

"no, you are being detained...we own you once you're inside security".

Hmmm...detained. But is that legal to detain someone for really no reason? Reason possibly because he was acting suspicious - asking generic questions, filming. How many people film and take pictures in airports all the time? Anybody not have a video recording device on their phone? As he points out, 3 TSA agents, 2 cops, a K9 bomb-sniffer, a behavior specialist, and a head security guy are pulled away from their stations dealing with this non-event for 30-45 minutes. They could better be using their time feeling up flight crews who opted out of their daily radiation allotment.

I also enjoyed watching the linked videos of the TSA bypassing security, rubbing down a crying, hysterical 3 year old girl, and making a 71 year old in a wheelchair take off his pants in public to show his fake knee. Good stuff.

I only watched the first one, but this guy is a pain in the ass. While he is not doing anything illegal with the videotaping, it heightens the awareness of the TSA. And it should. I would hope that anyone that is observed videotaping, photographing or taking notes on our security procedures would get some good questioning from TSA and law enforcement. Imagine the headlines if we turn a blind eye to the documentation of security procedures and then we have another terrorist attack which was allowed because security was circumvented using those tapings.

This guy probably asked each crew if they have their laptops stowed, or if they are sober, etc.

Entertaining, it is NOT! Disturbing? Absolutely. I think this young man has a point (somewhere there in his "reporting".) I absolutely support the law enforcement community, so lemme' be clear on that. However, I think our legislature is completely out of control with the TSA, et al. How in the world what they do does not rise to "...unreasonable search and seizure...", I cannot fathom. I applaud this guy.
