They must spend all their time in the pool room, because they are never on the ramp.

I love it when they turn on the ground air and leave the hose coiled...

I love it even more when they hook up ground air, but not turn it on. :(

Sorry if this has been covered..I missed about a week and saw that equated to 100+ pages so I skipped ahead!!

Beer, there was a resolution that was presented and passed unanimously in Council 44 last Thursday that directed the 44 reps to bring that forth as a negotiating priority.

Go read your HOTLINE from C44.

I got pretty good this summer at getting those things untwisted and hooked up. But it backfired one day in ATL as I moved the hose to unkink it (after the lav truck had moved it) and it came out and whipped around the ramp.

I then jumped on it and it took me for a ride, kind of like this:

The ramper told me later that the hooks on that particular hose were not very good. Even thought that happened, I shall not, with an airplane with no recirc fans with the air off, I shall not not correct a bad hose.

I've not had to do in DTW yet, I fear though if I do it could turn into that scene in the Soprano's where that old guy takes out a lawn care guy for working on a yard in a neighborhood where his nephew now did the lawns. Then another mobster retaliated on said nephew while he was hanging by a rope cutting branches and took a shovel to the back of the guy's head holding the rope and brought the nephew out of the tree where he then proceeded to beat him, take all his cash and then demand 10% from any yard he cut in the neighborhood. I think Tony got that all straightened out through an LOA or something, maybe a MOU. Anyways, I had a crashpad in Elisabeth NJ, made me nervous to see guys cutting the grass. Thought I might get caught in a crossfire.

disclaimer: only one sentence above might not be true.

WHY DO THEY DO THAT?

acl65pilot 11-03-2010 06:54 PM

The difference is now all 88 crews will be 90 qualified just like th e767/757, 319/320 and 737-700/800 so now there is a precedence to work with.

Their senority list integration ought to be interesting to see. How will it go?
