That is one way to start another union drive for them.

Unless there's a successful AFA challenge to the results, I believe AFA is frozen out for 2 years (no more card drives).

The AFA challenges that I've heard about seem pretty weak.
Some are just silly. They are not likely to win.

They filed the first one before the vote was even concluded.
Delta put a hyperlink to the NMB website on DeltaNet. Dastardly tactics!!

I see it that way too (so far). But with former AFA President Linda Puchala sitting as one of the three members of the NMB I think they'll have a powerful advocate on the Board. The Simulator Techs took 5 months and another election to be decided based on NMB's decisions.

94% voted. That's a pretty impressive number.

It was my understanding that this was pretty much do or die for the AFA, in that a loss at DAL was going to nearly bankrupt them.

Anyone know if that's true?

don't look now, but the dpa thread is slowly making its way to the second page. ;)

It will be interesting to see if their challenge bears fruit. I know that on their DAL website they are saying they will challenge it.

I know they cannot have a card drive, but I do not believe that precludes IAM or an independent from trying. Correct?

Anyone know if the other employee groups have the same health insurance options and costs as the pilots?

What do (did) the NWA FA's have?

Coke zero...........really...........that tastes like "new coke" to me, not that you're old enough to know what that is;)

I remember new Coke...it was nasty. An aberration of everything Dr. Pemberton/Candler intended. A flop. But I can't stomach Diet Coke and couldn't even finish my regular Coke the other day - tasted like drinking pancake syrup after four years as an avid CokeZero drinker.

Coke Z is really pretty good for washing down a Chick-fil-a or some rings and a chili dog from the Greasy V. :)

Any of you 88A's been through the MD90 transition lately? I've got that coming up - just curious what the day was like.
